Escuche a la Radio Festival Atitlan!Musica de 10 Años del Festival Atitlan!
Camping/HotelsThis year we once again encouraged people to plan on camping here in Santiago
at our campgrounds. It completes the experience Personal fires are not allowed, but we had a couple of nice bonfires burning at the site. There is plenty of room. This year we will charge Q20 per person, this is so that we can pay for the extra security. The folks who camped out were very happy with the experience.... there are gatherings all night long and the music never stops. If you can't camp, and want a Hotel:There are hotels of all kinds in Santiago. Posada de SantiagoThe best hotel is the Posada de Santiago this is our favorite hotel, not only for their quality, but because theyt constantly do great things to help us out. This year they have donated some rooms for the musicians to stay in. If you want a room at the Posada, get it now as they will fill up fast. Heres their story: Six Individual Stone Cottages Our “standard double.” All have a double and a single bed; private bathroom with hot water; fireplace. Single occupancy $50 Casa Cafetal is larger than the cottages and a little smaller than the suites—it has two double beds and one single bed, fireplace, cable television and coffee maker. La Casita, recently restored and enlarged. It has two bedrooms (queen-sized beds), living room with two twin beds, large bathroom and a kitchen. It is behind La Hacienda, so does not have a view. Single $30 The Three Suites- accommodate up to four guests. Hacienda Don Miguel Angel- is a recently remodeled three bedroom/two bath house, suitable for up to six guests. One bedroom has two twin beds and two bedrooms each have a queen-sized bed, a large living room, fully equipped kitchen and a great view from the veranda. | ||
